You probably heard that Lehigh Valley Health Network (LVHN) notified Aetna that LVHN will be terminating its relationship with Aetna effective March 13, 2023. LVHN publicly announced its intent to terminate its contract with Aetna during ongoing negotiations. We are sorry this caused so much concern for our members
The PEBTF has been in frequent conversations with Aetna about this situation and we want to share some good news!
Aetna informed us today that it has reached agreement with Lehigh Valley Health Network (LVHN). Under the agreement, LVHN will continue to provide covered benefits, at in-network rates, to Aetna members in the Lehigh Valley area.
Regardless of the plan you are enrolled in PPO, HMO or Medicare you can continue to receive the same in-network care after March 13, 2023 as you receive today.
