Retired Members Info - Medicare Private Fee-For-Service (PFFS)
For retirees and dependent(s) who are eligible for Medicare.Summary
- Annual Deductible — $100, excluding inpatient facility services, home health care, labs and some preventative services
- Out of Pocket Maximum — $380 per year for plan approved services not covered by Medicare in addition to the $100 calendar year deductible
- Hospital Expenses-no charge for days 1-180; 20% coinsurance for inpatient stays greater than 180 days
- Physician Services — no charge
- Emergency Care Expense — no charge
- Ambulance Services (no charge if medically necessary)
- Prescription Drug — use your REHP Prescription Drug Plan
Additional Benefits
The Medicare PFFS provides additional benefits such as a 24-hour nurseline, voluntary disease and case management and wellness programs.
